Refund & Cancellation

1. Scope

This policy applies to course tuition paid to Lockerlibrary for programs listed on lockerlibrary.digital. Third-party fees (app store accounts, software licenses) are non-refundable through us.

2. Cooling-Off Period

For distance contracts under Japanese consumer law, you may cancel within 14 days of payment if the cohort has not started and digital materials have not been accessed. Contact us in writing with your enrollment reference.

3. Full Refund Conditions

Full tuition refund applies when: (a) you cancel within the cooling-off window above; (b) we cancel a cohort before start; or (c) we materially change course content and you opt out before week two.

4. Partial Refunds

After cohort start, partial refunds may be granted only for documented medical or relocation hardship, prorated by weeks remaining minus a JPY 10,000 administrative fee. No partial refunds after week four.

5. Non-Refundable Items

Application fees (if any), completed assessment certificates, downloaded premium asset packs marked non-refundable, and no-show absences are not refundable.

6. Cancellation by Participant

Email cancellation requests to our contact address. Include full name, course, payment date, and reason. We confirm receipt within two business days.

7. Processing Time and Method

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method. Bank transfers may require additional days depending on your institution.

8. Consumer Rights in Japan

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions and other applicable Japanese consumer protection laws. Residents may contact relevant consumer affairs centers for guidance.
