2. Data We Collect
We collect: identity and contact data (name, email, phone), enrollment preferences, message content from forms, technical logs (IP, browser, pages visited), cookie identifiers per our Cookie Preferences, and cohort progress metadata when you use learning platforms.
3. Purpose of Processing
Data is processed to respond to inquiries, manage enrollments, deliver courses, improve site performance, meet legal obligations, and — with consent — analyze aggregated usage patterns.
4. Legal Basis
Processing is based on contract performance (enrollment), legitimate interests (site security and improvement), consent (optional analytics cookies), and legal obligations (tax and consumer records under Japanese law).
5. Retention
Contact form data is retained up to 24 months unless an enrollment relationship continues. Enrollment records are kept seven years for accounting and dispute purposes. Analytics logs are aggregated and deleted per provider schedules, typically within 14 months.
6. Third-Party Sharing
We use infrastructure and communication providers (hosting, email, cohort platforms) under data processing terms. We do not sell personal data. Analytics providers receive pseudonymous identifiers only when you opt in via cookie preferences.
7. International Transfers
Some providers may process data outside Japan. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or provider certifications aligned with APPI expectations.
8. Security Measures
We apply access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and staff training on data handling. No method is perfectly secure; report suspected incidents to our contact email promptly.
9. Your Rights
Under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and applicable consumer laws, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain processing. Submit requests to our contact email with identity verification. We respond within 30 days where feasible.
10. Children's Privacy
Services are intended for participants aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 without parental consent. Contact us to remove such data if discovered.
11. Policy Changes
We publish updates on this page with a revised last-updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acknowledgment where permitted by law.
